There is still so much info we haven't received yet. Do you have any plans to do an esp32 only version? If it can't, then I'll look at interest and demand and take the community interest as my guide. Step one is research and collect the subject materials and then we'll all be in a better place to make a decision. Last edited by kolban on Sun Oct 02, am, edited 1 time in total.

With esp, ram, processor, and peripheral limitations are always on your mind whether you are using native, rtos, nodemcu, espruino, arduino. For esp32, you have dual core, rtos, gpio matrix, coproc, DMA, lots of ram.

You approach with completely different state of mind. One area I am really hoping will be included at some stage is some stuff on DMA and especially a section on I2S input and output.

Unfortunately, I don't have any additional information on ESP32 than the rest of the community does. It is very early days in the life of ESP32 and I think we must all be patient. There is certainly enough in ESP32 to keep us going for a while at this time. The alternative would be to delay ESP32 release and try and cook everything in isolation. The way they are doing it is in my opinion good community practice. We just have to make sure that we realize what it is and try and not berate Espressif for "not having my area available yet I have faith it will all come together.

I would imagine that by about summerwe should be in good shape. For I2S, I've personally never touched that area My one suggestion would be to make the ESP32 subject matter a completely different book or a separate segregated part in the existing work.Espressif Systems is a fabless semiconductor company providing cutting-edge low power WiFi SoCs and wireless solutions for wireless communications and Internet of Things applications.

I'm still very much in learning mode myself on the new device. There has been virtually no fact checking done on the structure as a whole.

That will just be "drudge work" but important none-the-less. With that release I'll post here and say that we have reached a milestone where the notes will be open for general error reporting.

At this time I'm particularly only interested in areas that I have covered as ESP32 which are factually in error and would cause a reader gross confusion of wasted time. Thank you kind sir. Thanks for providing this information!

Based on the Blynk IoT platform, this book guides readers to create IoT projects through the project practice, the hardware in this book is a customized ESP learning development board.

This book first introduces some concepts of the Internet of Things, and introduces the method of constructing the Internet of Things development environment based on the understanding of the Internet of Things development board. Then, through the implementation of remote console lights, timing fans and other primary projects, the reader is guided to use the mobile phone and hardware to send simple commands, remote control, remote data acquisition and other mission.

By reading this book, readers can master the knowledge of Blynk IoT development technology, understand the development principles and steps of the Internet of Things, and independently develop IoT projects. The book includes the use of jQueryMobile to develop mobile web pages, zero-configuration network, instant temperature and humidity website, network light controller, ultrasonic control light brightness, use SD memory card to record temperature and humidity, Bluetooth robot remote control mobile app, control Arduino through mobile phone USB interface, mobile phone acceleration sensors, and other diversified examples.

It also describes ways to make more sophisticated IoT devices, such as how to control devices using MicroPython, use current sensors to visualize power usage, and use thermal webcams to visualize heat distribution. This book provides a platform to get started with the Ti launch pad and IoT modules for Internet of Things applications.

The book provides the basic knowledge of Ti launch Pad and ESP based customized modules with their interfacing, along with the programming. The book discusses the application of Internet of Things in different areas. Several examples for rapid prototyping are included to help the reader understand the concept of IoT.

This book helps you to create a "Google Firebase" database, structure it for your IOT application, perform all downloads necessary to install the tools all freeconfigure them, know how to implement your Arduino ESP 12E with programming codes for sending and receiving data from Firebase. Finally, it will construct a Dashboard control panel for monitoring and actuation of the data to control its Arduino, at first only variables, after the change of variables by sensors and LED's, etc. In this book, you'll learn how to make smart items for your home - affordable, modifiable and tailored to your needs.

As I started to read what was available in the way of documentation from the excellent community surrounding the device, I found that there were only small pockets of knowledge.

As I studied the device, I started to make notes and my pages of notes continued to grow and grow. This book is my collated and polished version of those notes. Rather than keep them to myself, I offer them to all of us in the ESP32 community in the hope that they will be of some value.
